Dental Coatings - BONIT®
SEM pictures of the BONIT® surface
Technology
BONIT® is an electrochemical coating technique developed by DOT. Using this technique, a thin resorbable calcium phosphate coating can be applied on dental implants.
Properties
- Color: light gray
- Coating thickness: 10-30 µm
- Microporosity with high capillary effect
- Suitable for porous surfaces
and complex implant geometries - Shorter and improved healing of the implant
